| Work today was kind of slow...which is good..and bad. Today I met this Romanian family that does psychic readings for a living. Her mom works in knox and she works in gatlinburg..it was interesting talking to her. What confuses me is that they are Catholic...I dont think i quite understand that..cause i thought people that do that sort of stuff are atheist...oh well...mom was saying how God created such interesting things, like their job for example..they dont have another job or anything..i guess they make enough money to survive on with a lil bit of extra to pamper themselves by getting their nails and feet done....
so I guess you're kinda wondering if I got a free reading....haha..yup! (there are benefits from doing cool people's nails) I didn't ask her to read mine or anything..i was just questioning her about her job and she just said that i had a 'positive aura'...which made me smile :) and then i told her that i did this other ladies' nails, she was also a palm reader...well she didn't quite get everything on the dot. haha. that other lady said that i didn't know what exactly i want to do in life/career wise...so i didn't really believe her. but this lady i met today.. for some odd reason...it made me think about what she said about me...she told me that i have a great year ahead of me, that 2006 will bring me happiness...and then she jumped into something i really hoped she wouldn't go near...the love life. dun dun dun...haha. she was like...but your love life seems to be sort of confusing for you...(i'm like..."uh huh, go on.") and then she asked me when was my last relationship-i told her i never had a serious relationship before, i mean i dated but never anything serious...and she told me that there is someone that i like and that i'm 'fighting' for but he doens't 'fight' for me...something about i really like someone but he really doesn't care about me....weird. it made me speechless..cause i really can't think of who it could be...i had no comment...and she added..'you shouldn't worry too much about your love life now, you should focus more in school, you have more time ahead of you for the right one'...ok at this point she's like my mother, giving me advice...i just couldn't stop smiling, i dont know why...i really wanted her to tell me more..but i would feel weird asking since i'm not paying for her service. i've always wanted my palm/future read but never really took action to get it done...so that was the highlight of my day...i hope i'll meet someone interesting tomorow :) | | |
| a quick update on what happened since last post...
xmas party and end of semester parties were off the chain..had a blast..met a few new people...
now on break til jan 17th and workin at westtown in knoxvegas
went to atlanta shopping yesterday..didn't find a thing.. :(
new year's plans- meet up with some friends to watch some fireworks and ball drop in gatlinburg..maybe go out somewhere in knox and find me a boy to kiss at the stroke of midnight! i am feeling a lil bit lucky this year haha
aunts are leaving for toronto after new years, so i'll be workin it hella...
recently met some new friends and they seem great
also have hung out with some old friends, which is always very interesting to see how much they have changed or not changed...
and some friends i haven't hung out with in a while..and its about time to hang
i'm in need of a new wardrobe...new boots...
got this cool jacket from wet seal for an affordable price...i love it.
been eating a lot..and hardly working out...feeling a bit fat. and jiggly....
new year's resolutions:
get in shape
focus more in school
maybe go darker with my hair
try newer styles
be more charming/flirty..and less fiesty towards males

LAYOUT....GAH...I FEEL SO GOOD. We were coming home from Virginia beach
and we were going through the tunnel...i grabed my camera and snapped
the shot..it turned out great!

| school started finally. classes aren't too bad. its the teachers that i
have to get use to. most of my classes are kinda big..which is kind of
nice..more people, more friends right?? this year looks like its going
to be great so far. i hate doing hw though...school started monday and
i was suppose to start reading for classes but i haven't even opened
the books yet to start! books were so damn expensive! three books..near
$300!! shew. i see lots of new faces on campus..which is kind of
retarded..cause most of them are freshmens...i hate freshmens...the
girls always tend to get sluttier and sluttier...poons was telling me
that she saw this one chick wore this top that was meant for
clubbing...like half of her front side was showing..her boobs all
falling out...i mean..wtf?! are they expecting to get A's with that?!
hell no...lol. there are different levels of sluttiness...my friends
and i are in the upper class of sluttiness...we call ourselves the
classy hoes. :) haha.
so in the end..i got to go to virginia beach. it was hella fun. didn't
turn out what i expect it to turn out to be ...but we had fun. pix are
posted so check them out. i kinda wished va beach would be like spring
break in panama city..but it wasn't. we ended up going to the same
freakin club three nights in a row. haha. it was fun..everytime we went
up on stage to dance..last night we walked in with sunglasses and
danced the night away with our sunglasses on...fun stuff. the beach
wasn't all that...if it wasn't for the surfing competition with the
surfer boys and the skateboarding pros they had there..the beach
wouldn't have been fun....
oh the dental school thing turned out to be awesome. got to check out
the dental side..i really wouldn't mind gonig to school there..we got
lost and accidently went into the ghetto side of town..which was kind
of creepy..i wish i could've checked out the shopping there a little
more..we went to a shopping mall near our hotel which totally sucked.
downtown memphis was kinda cool..too bad they close the streets for 21
over at night..so we didn't get to check that out...we went to this
pharmacy frat party...it was off the chizzain! haha. it was the biggest
party i've ever been to..it was fun stuff...so yeah. if i get in ut
memphis..i'm def. going to go there!!
this will be it for now...for school as started and lots has been going
in and out of my life..(cheesy) until next time san diego!

| two more weeks til fall semester starts! I'm so not ready! I've been stuck in knoxvegas now that summer school ended. This coming weekend I'm going to go to memphis to visit the dental school there....hopefully i'll like it and not get shot. lol. I can't believe the school actually pays for it...hotel, food, transportation..we're going for three days and two nights..so far i only know one chick that is going...maybe it'll be a fun crew that is going cause i dont want this trip to be boring...
i've been trying to beg my moms to letting me to go va beach with my girls...she's being extra anal! i have to go somewhere fab. before school starts! maybe one of these days i can go to charlotte or atl to go shopping...wouldn't that be great? i need new back to school clothes!
